This is a new kitchen in an 1800’s farmhouse. The size of the room was limited to its original footprint due to the location of an existing masonry chimney.

Requirements included:

•Pantry-type storage with glass cabinet doors
above for display

•An island with easily accessed cooking
utensils and seating for two

•Simple, painted Shaker-style doors and wood counters that add a sense of warmth and
simplicity
